Week 10 did not disappoint as we flipped the calendar to November!
The two biggest story lines of the weekend involved Head Coach Brian Kelly’s former team upsetting Clemson and his current team knocking off archrival Alabama in OT. But who could have seen this coming? When BK took over the LSU program the cupboard was supposed to be bare coming off some challenging years on and off the field. He took what he had and has turned it into quite the season. LSU is outperforming their preseason expectations. Were you one of the faithful who saw this coming and have been on the LSU Bandwagon since the start of the season?
Speaking of Bandwagons, who is still on the Notre Dame Bandwagon? After their tough start they have won six out of their last seven games and might just be the hottest team in college football right now behind LSU.
A couple other teams riding high worth mentioning include Florida State jumping from 40 to 13. They bounced back nicely over the last two weeks with big wins over Georgia Tech and Miami, FL. Is this the start of a nice run for them or a flash in the pan? They have a favorable schedule over the last three weeks with games at Syracuse, home v. Louisiana and Florida.
Iowa is another team making a jump in the past two weeks with strong performances over Northwestern and Purdue. Iowa’s schedule lines up nicely to have an outside shot at winning the Big Ten West.
Our last underrated team making up some ground this past week is Louisville. The Cardinals are on a four game winning streak, but their upcoming schedule will prove to be pretty challenging with a trip to Clemson, home v. NC State, and then a visit to instate rival Kentucky. Can they keep it up?
Oklahoma State is decimated by injuries and is trickling down in our rankings from 25 to 51.
Wake Forest has lost two in a row to drop from 18 to 39. They get UNC and Syracuse at home but then travel to Duke to end their season. Do they have enough left in the tank?
The next couple of weeks should be very interesting; whose Bandwagon are you jumping on?
