Week 11 Observations

Week 11 did not disappoint with upsets across the board, and some real head

scratchers for the true CFB pre season prognosticators. See Texas A&M losing to

Auburn. How were people this far off on Texas A&M? What is happening in College

Station, Texas?

Another big upset in the SEC was Vanderbilt going into Lexington and knocking off

the Wildcats! The win ends Vandy’s 26 game SEC losing streak. Conference play has

not been kind to them of late. Vandy needs to win out to become bowl eligible as

they host Florida next week and then host in state rival Tennessee to end their

season.

In the PAC-12 we had Washington, a team that has struggled mightily on the road

this year, go into Eugene, OR and pull off the best upset of the conference this year!

The Huskies are hot and riding a 4 game winning streak. Can they keep it up? They

host Colorado next week and then head to Washington State the following week.

Staying in the PAC-12 who had Arizona going into Pasadena and playing spoiler to

UCLA’s season? Arizona needs to win out in order to be bowl eligible. UCLA may

have been caught looking ahead as they host rival USC next week and then head to

CAL to wrap up their season.

UCONN is going bowling for the first time since 2015! They upset Liberty in a way

that might have Jim Mora back in the NFL! UCONN will wrap up their season next

week at ARMY but it’s still quite an accomplishment for a team only expected to win

3 games to start the season!

TCU continued their historic season by going into Austin, TX and knocking off

instate rival. They were a higher ranked underdog, which you don’t see too often

and they did not disappoint! Can they keep it going for an undefeated season? Next

week they travel to Baylor before hosting Iowa State to end the regular season.

What a story this has become! The national folks hate it because it’s not the normal

elite name they want to see in mid November that makes it even better for CFB!

Does anyone know what to make of the ACC? Sure there is Clemson in the Atlantic,

but UNC has come out of nowhere to rattle off six wins in a row to take command of

the Coastal Division! They had a massive win this weekend in Winston-Salem! They

end the season hosting Georgia Tech and NC State. This team might be Mack

Brown’s greatest coaching performance.

That’s all for this week!
